Export Field….not working on Safari and Webdirect

Featured Replies

We just converted our server (Windows) over to FM14v3 from FM13. A script that use to work properly using web direct no longer functions with Safari 8.08 (haven't tried other versions…). It is a simple export field contents and use to work (popup blocker IS turned off still). You go thru the motions of selecting the file name and clicking the buttons…but the download never happens. And no error messages. Anyone else seen this problem?

I attached a file showing the "stuck" dialog…it just sits at this stage and the file download never starts.

And Safari 9.0 (out today) does not fix this issue. But it does seem to add a few more issues!!!

Well I should add that it seems to be related to size. Small files download just fine…large ones (>5MB) never start downloading

Thanks for the heads up on this issue.  I was just about to build a delivery system to move some infrequent users to WD.

How does IE or Chrome respond?

I just tried to download a 4MB file with WD.  It worked fine.  However I noticed that the 'downloading' dialog box never closed.

I also tried downloading a 17MB file.  The download completed, but again the downloading files dialog box didn't close by itself.

I am using Safari 9.0.1, FMS 14.0.2
