How can I send email from version 5.5? I am on a mac using os X.

Try the plugin SMTPit. I have used it in both OS9 and OSX. Go to the FileMaker Web Site, go to the link for support. Then go to the link for Solutions and Tools. Select the link for Plugins, and choose the catagory Web. you will find a link to the manufacturer of the plugin. I believe the link is http://www.filemaker.comm-unity.net

I thought 5.5.2 (latest updater) fixed the email problem on OSX.
