hi

i created a portal for where i want to be able to add in several items for it to total to create a report.

however it only allows me to add one row. how can i fix this ?

Make sure your portal fields are 'completely with' the top portal row.  Even a 1 pixel intrusion will cause this event.

checked that still no change, any other reason why that could happen

And what does the Add Item script do? Have you allowed creation of records via this relationship in the Database Relationship diagram?

is that meant to happen?

It proves that the fields are attached to the portal - sometimes they aren't, even when they look like they are, but in this case that seems OK

i think that was it, i only allowed creation of record on one side , however now i fell into a different issue, only on one field it lets me enter not on all, why could that be

It’s a setting in your relationship in order to create new records. You get one row per related record, it can be as wide as you want it, but only one row high.

One of you in your team should read about portals, relationship, creating related records.
