I would like to know what are the best html editor to use for developing web site with a FielMaker database in background. And why is the best ?

Hi,

The question of the 'best HTML editor' depends on what you're using to serve up the database.

If you're using pure CDML, then Claris HomePage (v3) is the best bet as it provides some excellent templates.

However, if you have to use Lasso, I'd suggest Dreamweaver (or Dreamweaver UltraDev prefereably) with the Lasso Dreamweaver studio.

I wonder if we use Lasso why do we need Dreamweaver UltraDev? I thought if you have Lasso, you only need Dreamweaver?

I may miss something? Is Lasso is Plug in of Dreamweaver to access to FMP?

If you're going to use Lasso Studio, there's no reason to use Dreamweaver UltraDev - plain ol' Dreamweaver will function exactly the same with it.
