Hi

do have some Files in Fmaker2 format and they are not relational, want to use them know in Fm5, which would be the best approach to do that; if I just open the files in FM5, some funktions don't work correct anymore.

FMP 5 will convert the files when you try to open them in the new version: the databases are actually convertedand renamed, and the file extension will change. Some script steps (open, close, performing external scripts, import, export etc) will break because they'll be looking for the old files, but usually selecting the newly named file will fix the problem.

What sort of functions aren't working. Be specific.
