General Discussion for Productive Computing Products

Hello - Is the Outlook ID for all of my contacts imported from Outlook into FMP supposed to be identical for all records? I thought it was supposed to be a unique ID across all Outlook records (contacts, tasks, emails, etc.). Thanks.

Moving to a simple database for Mac Desktop from FMP I have been using FMP for ages. However since I no longer really need it’s complexity (all I have is a few simple databases like passwords, addresses and the like) I like to move away form it and move to something simple (and cheaper). Now I use Mac computers so it needs to work on a Mac. Any suggestions anybody? And preferably something that is easy to use (for the other folk in my home) and where we could import the data form the FMP databases we like to keep. I have access to FMP 17, 18 and 19. PS if I am not in the richt forum tell me where to post.

It appears this is no longer supported for the mac. I have FM programs that used the mac plug-in back in 2014 - 2015. Is there a way to get the plug in? Thank you for your help Ed

Hello I am trying to use the OSR help for the Productive computing FM connector. However the scroll bar on the message drop down does not seem to work. I can’t select the message I want to work with. Thanks kaps

I have attempted to use the function getlistofvalues to get the contacts layout to list the groups that contact belongs to. Does anyone know how i might achieve this quickly without a deep dive into the relationship graph? thanks so much

I am populating a series of a application forms from the FM database and saving each one to a specified directory with each application form name appended with the name of the applicant (PCPF_SetPDFFieldValue( "VeteranName" ; Veterans::VeteranName )) along with their identification number (PCPF_SetPDFFieldValue( "pkID" ; Veterans::__pkVeteransID )). My question is how does one use Set Field[ Main::Result ; PCPF_SaveAsPDF ( “Some other PDF file path” ) ] script step to save the file as a name based on the previous two field values. For instance if VeteranName = John Doe and the pkID = 100 and the saved directory path is Macintosh HD/Users/Robert/Documents/Database ho…
