  1. Below is a link to a basic overview of using SQL in FileMaker. It is work in progress and being added to but may give some low level SQL users a bit more of an insight, from my experience working with SQL.   4. Interesting query. - Are you using FileMaker Pro Advanced on your Windows Computer (as in your avatar area) or Mac? What version of FileMaker Pro Advanced are you running? Do you have a web viewer on the layout - sometimes this can take the focus of the window away. - Try a very simple file, as aforementioned - Open 'Manage Scripts'. Hold the shift key and hit the play button to run any script. This will initiate the script debugger window to open.
