Hi Ellen, Nice File. I AssUMe since it is open source , It is OK to use in solutions. That is as long as we mention your name in the ABOUTs scripts and Layouts. I have also created a calendar system but I like yours better. Keep up the Good Work. P.S. How would you like your credits to read? 8^)

Imported text from another file. Old file people insisted on using all caps. Is there a way to convert text to title caps, without just going into layout mode and changing the font style. The fields will be used be an email program and it is pretty ugly to see all caps.

Thanks You guys. Back in business. Now to copy over the files. Still need to know how to get rid of Messenger services. XP won't allow for it to be deleted. Very annoying little program.

Still at it. Going to try to add cdrom from dos. Anyone know the commands. Also who knows how to disable the annoying messagenger service that comes with XP?

It's not that the Windows re-install would be a problem , That's How I got it back last time. No Loss of Files. It's The restore disk that would kill me. Besides that. It is the CD Rom that I think is the problem. It can not been seen in start up and is not in the device manager. Yet F1 setup at start up shows the CD Rom there. This is driving me bonkers. I quit smoking almost year ago and there have been times the last couple of days were I thought.. Strike that I am not aloud to think. I know the problem lies at the CD at startup but I can't figure it out. Again when I do the 3 finger salute I still get msqsvr not responding. Even after I turned off all network connections. Anybody got any Ideas or am I I going to See Dr. HardDrive?

Update on my problem. Start up using F6 key puts you into Safe Mode with Network. I turned of all network prefs so it won't try to go to a network. Took cover off machine unplugged and re-plagged in all drive while on shut down while still disconnected. Reboot Still get the white screen. All I need to do is to get to see my Cd drive at start up and I can re-Install windows. I am running out of ideas. Have too much on drive just to walk away. Any Ideas??? ;^(

About 3 days before new computer was to arrive the old decided to go on strike. I got back once but it gone again. Windows boots normally until I get a white screen with cursor/Hour glass. Do the 3 finger salute and I get msgsvr not responding. I have win98 cd = drive yet it wont boot off that either. Went to device manger a redid the cdrom driver. (safe mode) HELP ME PLEASE all I want to do is get it going again , move my files to the new comp. and the take old one out in the woods and shoot it. Safe Mode is great it won't allow you to copy the files you own.

Pretty Awesome, The HTM's get saved to the unpacked folder (or could it be the last folder opened. This pretty Greek to me. I get the pages to open but when I tell to do a command I get page not found. Am I just being dense or did I do something wrong?

Believe or not it is old Tech but still works perfectly.

Right Ugo I agree , but I had an old file that I did in in and it was eaaier just to take screens. Lazy I guess.

Question from another forum "Does anyone have any example of a button from one database that will go to the same record in another database with the same ID. But I need it to first search all the records in the second database so that if there are multiple records with that ID it will show them.. if not then create a new record and set the ID field to what the ID field is in the first database. Hello Micheal, I don't want to compete with you. Find attached my version. It has FM, Windows and Lasso error codes and it also has an file entension lookup. Error Codes and Extentensions.zip

It appears you are coping to a cdrw, and when you put it on pc you can't modofy. After you copy onto pc click on folder or icons and go to preferences and change from read oly to archive. Once this is done you can modify. BTW Mac to PC , make files have .fp5 extension at end of each file.

Thanks for nice on layout 8-) Yes Script is as is have 5 different for 5 different portals. key is checking counter against calc = count(Somefield) About Map planner got a files from DB Pros called Maps.fp5 Incorporated his idea with mods to get maps and directions from mapquest. Hello Ernst This is what I did to reduce portal rows to one. The problem I had is it was not resetting the counter. Fields = gLayout_portal row number =number gLayout_portal row = count(Relationship,somefield) Script = Up_Layout Portal_Rows If gLayout_portal row number > gLayout_portal row or gLayout_portal row number < 1 Set Field gLayout_portal row number , 1 Else Set Field gLayout_portal row number, gLayout_portal row number + 1 Go to Portal row (by field value) gLayout_portal row number Go to Field (relationship, somefield) For Down_Layout Portal_Rows (script) changed Set Field gLayout_portal row number, gLayout_portal row number -1 See the screen shot attached

Hi Bob I really like your idea for buttons. In fact I am in process of changing on of my files. I reduced the portal to 2 rows w/scroll bar to save real estate. I am not using only one portal I have 3 different portals. 1- Layout navigation 2- File navigation 3- General FM commands I would like to reduce portal rows to one and install buttons Go to portal row [next Go to portal row [previous] Now here's the dumb question. I should know it. With more than 1 portal , How do you tell it which portal to go to? Duh ;-(
