  1. I need to identify whether the client is using a browser or Filemaker client to access the database and branch a script depending upon the answer. HELP!
  2. My RTS is stored on a memory stick. It has Open URL script steps that opens the designated files in other applications. These target files are also stored on the memory stick together with the RTS. (They are not embedded.) This works fine with Windows, not on the Mac. The Mac is unable to identify the path of the memory stick and execute the open URL command. Thoughts???
  3. I have the exact problem. Did you find a fix?
  4. When logging into a database using FMP7 client, username/password authentication works as expected. From a browser, the only access to a database is through the "guest" logon, which requires no password. Attempting to log on as "admin" or another identified user with password, FMP7 Advanced complains and disallows. Any suggestions?
  5. When a field with an attached value list is entered from a browser, the values at the bottom of the list show up. The user must scroll up to get to most of the list. This is bad! In the FMP client, it works properly. The values in the list come from fields in the same table and are related by a self join, if that makes a difference. Help!
  6. Dynamic value lists work differently in IWP than they do in the FMP application. In IWP the key field that is used for the relationship to identify the related values MUST be "committed" before the related values show up in the list. This must be scripted and attached to a button. The problem I am having with IWP value lists in that when the field is entered, the values at the bottom of the list are seen. I wish, of course, for the user to see the values at the top of the list. The value list works properly in the FMP application. Can anyone help?
  7. I use Windows Server 2003. Scripting buttons to navigate within a solution works fine, except the typical user is conditioned to use the browser back button, not navigate back using a button on the web page.
  8. When I click the browser back button, many times I recieve the following message. "Warning: Page has Expired The page you requested was created using information you submitted in a form. This page is no longer available. As a security precaution, Internet Explorer does not automatically resubmit your information for you. To resubmit your information and view this Web page, click the Refresh button." This is a problem! I have not found a reasonable work around yet. I suspect it is a bug with IWP that we must live with. HELP!
