  1. We use FMStudio to write the code for us for Logins. You do two types of logins - Login Scheme - FileMaker Connection with User Login and a Table Based Login. I checked their site and found a movie for the FileMaker Connection based login at http://www.fmwebschool.com/movies/fmstudio_user/login_new/login_new.html and then they had two webinars at http://www.fmwebschool.com/fmstudio.php the first one shows a table based login. Best Regards Tom
  2. I have been using FMStudio for a couple of months now and I want to say that I am more than pleased with this product. I originaly bought FMStudio because I new very little about FileMaker and web publishing and I wanted to bring my Message Pad solution to the web. Not only was I able to do this with FMStudio, but Michael and Stephen took the time to encourage me and to quickly respond to any questions that I may have. The Link for FMStudio is http://www.fmwebschool.com/fmstudio.php I am throughly pleased with FMStudio and I cannot wait to see the new features! Thank you Stephen and Michael from a very happy customer! Regards, T. Beasley
  3. Stephen, I have moved my conversation over to the FMStudio subcategory. I don't think everyone wants to hear about my message pad solution. I am purchasing FMStudio today, and will download a trial version of Dreamweaver. I am also going to email the database to you, as you offered to take a look. I will be hosting the solution myself. We have purchased a copy of Server Advanced and there will only be 12 of us using the website. Regards T. Beasley
  4. Stephen, Thank you for your prompt response. Yes, the solution is quite simple, but I desperately need to have this implemented to keep track of my employees. (They work from home offices)and it has been quite a task seeing who is where and when. I have attempted using Instant Messaging, but you can imagine 12 people constantly messaging each other, and little getting done. I would like to proceed with FMStudio, and I will download a trial version of Dreamweaver. I will also email a copy of my database to you, I would appreciate any comments. I am hoping that it will be simple to reproduce. FMStudio looks like a great product, hopefully it will be the magic bullet I need! Regards T.Beasley
  5. I apologize if I am breaking protocol. (I posted in the FX.php section as well) I am trying to recreate a message pad solution that I built in FileMaker so it is accessible via the web. I currently have 12 employees, working remotely from home offices. This system would allow me to keep track of who is in the office / appointments etc... I have very little web knowledge, I know just enough html to be dangerous and I have worked with front page. From my description, is this something that I can use fmstudio to build this site for me? I would like to have this implemented before Christmas. Is this possible? Regards T.Beasley
  6. I have a message pad solution that I developed in FileMaker and I would like to make it accessible via the web. The solution is not very complex, it keeps track of scheduling as well as provides the ability to send messages (currently over a network) to other staffers. Can something like FX.php, or even the new API handle this? Currently their would be 12 users. I have seen fmstudio's post. Has anyone worked with fmstudio to build a website? Thank you for your help. Regards T. Beasley
