This FileMaker plug-in is now compatible with Intuit® QuickBooks 2017 Pro, Premier, and Enterprise US editions and has been redesigned to communicate with FileMaker 64-bit in addition to FileMaker 32-bit.

Updates for FM Books Connector v9 include:

- Verified compatibility with FileMaker® Pro 13-15 for Windows (32-bit) and FileMaker Pro 14-15 for Windows (64-bit)

 

A typical FileMaker to QuickBooks integration enables you to push customer data and related invoices into QuickBooks with the push of a button. Other integrations can consist of vendor or purchase order data exchanges, customer balance queries, time sheet imports, shopping cart orders, general journal transaction and more. Using the FM Books Connector plug-in makes data exchange easy by eliminating time consuming double entry and costly data entry errors and maintaining the security and privacy of vital financial information. With a new suite of FM Books Connector instructional videos and expanded compatibility, getting started with an integration is easier than ever.

 

For Macintosh-based developers, we have developed a free utility tool that works hand in hand with the FM Books Connector for Windows.  This template plug-in mimics all the script functions that are available to the Window's FM Books Connector plug-in for use with Intuit’s QuickBooks desktop applications while programming on a Mac. However, one important difference is that the Mac Template will not perform any actual data transfer between FileMaker Pro and QuickBooks desktop and is for development purposes only.
