I bought last mont a MirrorSync 3.17
I am using it with FileMaker Server 14 running on macOS. It has been working as expected until I included 5 more tables yesterday. Then, I got a message that says:
“FileMaker has a limit of 32,768 script steps. This script contains 35,665 steps, which is 8% too large”
(Please see the enclosed file).

I am using JDBC (not XML).

Is there any work around for this situation? I need to synchronize all the tables of my solution.

I need a solution!

do you really have a script with over 35,000 script steps?

  • Author

Yes we have 35665 script steeps!

The script was created automatically when configuring MirrorSync.

Is this for a server-to-server sync, or is it client-to-server?

Also, how many total tables are you syncing? Are there a lot of container fields?

  • Author

Is client-to-server

67 tables

18 container fields

I'm afraid there is no perfect answer for you. The only solution with MirrorSync is to reduce the number of tables / fields. Eliminating container fields has a bigger impact than other types of fields.

Then mirrorsync is not the right solution to synchronize, this is very limited, our solution will still grow more.
Is there any way to synchronize without limit?
