Mac User Needs NT Interpreter!

Hi all!

I've been publishing databases on the web on a friend's Mac servers for several years now with great success. Alas, my friend has closed his servers and I am now at the mercy of a hosting company with NT servers. Thy do not directly support FileMaker, although they seem to support every other database program in the world. In any event, I need to build dynamic pages using the information in my FMP4 files without having to buy a PC and learn new software. Am I stuck serving the database separately (from my house), or is there a scripting language/other solution that I'm overlooking? (And if I have to upgrade to FMP5.5, I'll happily do so in order to solve this problem.)

Thank you in advance for your ideas!

M

Why is that? Have you shopped around for a FileMaker host which uses Mac servers?

There are plenty of ISPs out there who support Filemaker. Do not waste your time or money on one who will not. Try DigitalForest or ODItech both of which actively support Filemaker.

I am sure that other will be able to give you additional referrals.

Sorry, guess I should have specified that I'm with this particular hosting company because their price is $1.00 a month. I suppose if I wasn't so cheap I'd be having less trouble, huh? LOL!

Gee, worth every penny I guess!

FYI, it makes no difference to be hosted on Mac or PC... IMHO FM runs faster on PC...
