My FM 17 Pro does not have a Page margin option in the View menu, in layout mode. How can I show the page margins in layout mode so I can see that everything fits on the page?

I think FM17 always shows page breaks and page margins when in preview mode.

The grey area outside of the normal parts (body, header etc) are the page margins.

They aren't hugely useful, and FileMaker will never print anything in those areas anyway, but it gives you an idea as to how much 'White Space' will exist around your layouts when you print.

Yes, but what a pain switching back and forth between layout and preview as you work. In previous FM versions you could see page margins in the layout mode, making it much easier to work with.

You're using a Mac. I'm using FM 17 for the PC. No Page Margins.

wow learn something new every day, probably why windows can specify print options like mac such as page reduction percentages. 

They're in 16.  Maybe they moved them.  Can't imagine they removed them in 17 just for a PC.  Maybe it's a glich and needs to be reported?
