Newbies danbert8 Posted February 25, 2020 Newbies Share Posted February 25, 2020 Howdy. I'm new to the Forums (and fairly new to Filemaker) and I have started putting helpful tooltips on a lot of my buttons. The user guide online states that tooltips wrap at a certain point, but I was wondering if it was possible to put in a manual return/line break into the tooltip to make it have multiple lines. It doesn't make sense to have a super wide tooltip if it can be condensed down to a smaller horizontal tooltip that is a bit taller. Anyone know if this is possible similar to an HTML <br> tag or a
 or
character?

comment
Or just: "text¶more text"
Fitch
Also, just a return or shift-return will work inside a quoted string here.
bcooney
Or, don’t use a button and a tooltip. Use a popover button and put that info in the popover with the button that runs the script in the popover.

Newbies danbert8 Posted February 26, 2020 Author Newbies Share Posted February 26, 2020 The List() option worked wonderfully. Thank you for the help!
