Although this could be already been solved, worked out in a better way or what ever... With the help of other people and a bit of my knowledge, I have come with a solution that works for me.

I'm pretty sure it can be very much improved, but by now, I think works fine and does the work I need.

This lets you navigate through slide panels, showing the total number of panels and in the partial count, the actual panel you are in (been independent each panel count).

Thanks to all the help I have received in this great forum. I hope this can help others.

Not bad, although a bit over-engineered for my taste. Thank you for sharing.

FYI the "second" layout calc's object name is "first Copy" so it fails to refresh.

Thanks for pointing the bug.

As I said,

I try to help (beginners, because the length of my knowledge does not go further than first steps into intermediate, I hope🤞), giving back a bit of the the help I've received many times in this forum.

When I wanted to make this navigation I searched the forum and I wasn't able to find anything. So when I made it to work, I posted my way of accomplishing it.

I remember posting something similar (albeit without the 'n/m' display) but I can't find it now. I forgot how difficult it was.

FWIW, here is my old file:

Keeping the fun.

- The headache was to calculate the "active/showing" panel number.

- What if there´s more than one control panel?

- In the PrevNextPaner+, the total number of panels is hard coded. I just count them by object name, what let´s me forget about it´s quantity...

*Nice display comment.

Indeed. I believe that beyond a certain point the returns on generalization are diminishing (I suspect that's also what @Fitch was referring to).

If I had many slide control objects, I would probably send the object name as part of the script parameter, along with the number of panels.

Following your advice I´ve been able to make it work with a universal script only. 👌
