I am not sure if you are using filemaker on the web, or just after email for mac from filemaker.

I will assume from filemaker

One option is the open URL script step.

Create a calculation field that creates the email details.

"mailto:" & email address

You can add subject to it as well.

"mailto:" & email field & "?subject=" & subject field.

then use the open url and specify as the calc field.

Another option is applescript it.
