Omit from found set

Featured Replies

I would like to find all clients that have a birthday in the chosen month (e.g. June), and that have an insurance policy with anyone of the 10 insurance companies that we deal with.

Then from that found set I need to omit all clients that have a policy with e.g. AXA, MLC & AC&L.

Enter Find Mode

Go to the field with the date and enter 6/1/2003..6/30/2003

New Record Request

AXA and click the Omit

New Record Request

MLC and click the Omit

AC&L and click the Omit

Of course you could also script this... just replace the second line with...

Go to layout, choose date --a special layout where the user enters the desired date range

Go to field, date

Pause/Resume

...then use:

New Record/Request

Set field, insuranceCo, AXA

Omit Record Request

--repeat the above for the 3 insurance companies, then perform find.
