I would like to connect to my FileMaker database from my ASP page (available from my Web hosting server). What exactly do I need to supply my Web hosting server with? Filemaker is'nt install on the server...

It will be straightforward job for WebCompanion and CDML.

With ASP, hmm, try ODBC. It will be difficult and slow.

If you want to use ASP and FM look into http://www.fmcdn.com and getting their connector; however you will have to use their ASP syntax (it is based on SQL but not SQL as standard...they made their own functions and procedures that apply)!

What is your "Web hosting server"?

....is it IIS or Apache or....is a Mac Platform or Windows or Linux?
