Hi there, now i have filemaker unlimited, so i want to try the web function, so i put one of my solution to try it, after i try, i found that most of my button can't work, it only can work with simple function like new/delete record, and even can't set the button to perform script. And on web browser, if we want to print, we only can print the whole page including the menu bar. Can somebody how how to solve it and if possible please recommend some website which is using fimemaker. Thank you

Dear Henry,

It is obvious that you are referring to IWP. The success of your solution is dependent upon your abilities as a FileMaker db developer. IWP generates the HTML for you, so you need to read all the documentation available on IWP. There you will find out about the limitations of IWP. You will then need to develop your solution so that the IWP generates the HTML you want within those limitations. You cannot edit that code. Your control is limited to your db design abilities.

If you want to gain full control of your solution you will learn HTML or how to use an HTML editor, you will get a free copy of the CDML Reference database, and you will learn CWP. In that way you control not only the development of the database file(s), you also control the code used by the browsers.

No matter which course you take, it will be a while before you find success. Successful solutions do not happen by osmosis, but by study and work.

Good luck.
