otterboy Posted October 14, 2003 Posted October 14, 2003 I've hunted around, but haven't been able to find anything about this. I am trying to write a script that will find the current record, and only the current record, so that I can import a bunch of data from a file into it. I've tried several different scripts, but haven't been able to get it to work. Is this really easy? Am I being stupid? Can you suggest something?
kenneth2k1 Posted October 14, 2003 Posted October 14, 2003 Hi: Omit Record Show Omitted Make sure that you specify your match field and select "Update matching records in found set." Ken
Ugo DI LUCA Posted October 14, 2003 Posted October 14, 2003 Mind a little "correction" Ken ? Not SportBase, so it won't hurt. Show All Records Omit Show Omitted Just in case there were already omitted records BTW, I've got good feelings for Sunday's game...
kenneth2k1 Posted October 14, 2003 Posted October 14, 2003 Yes, you are right. I should really quit giving advice w/o thinking or checking first. Cleveland just played the Raiders well. So it will be a good match. Hopefully defense can wake up.
otterboy Posted October 14, 2003 Author Posted October 14, 2003 Don't follow sports, so I can't contribute to that, but thanks for solution(s)!

Use a self relation based on the record ID, then go to related record. I'm not a fan of the show all records/omit thing personally.
