List data printing onto next line

We have a daily list which is starting to print data onto the next line; ie over the top of the next record.

It occurs when there is too much text in a field. I want it to truncate the view, not flow over.

This is only visible on paper,(not in Preview) -and does not always occur!

It may be a print driver issue rather than a FMP problem. What printer, OS, version of FMP etc?

Printer is a networked HP Laser Jet 4Si on Novell network. SOme users have Filemaker 4.0, others 4.1.

Today I discovered a user who had an incorrect printer driver causing Filemaker Headers to print without the top 2 cm.

Maybe we are onto something..
