In layout mode change your field to a text field, then right-click on it and select Text Format, then Paragraph. Set the indent to 1 or 2 pixels from the right. If pixels are not the unit of measurement, first select View -> Object size and click on the right side of the Size box until px becomes the selected units. Then change your field back to the desired number field. It will retain the text formatting.

Thanks for the prompt reply. I'm designing a 5 view layout with approx 110 fields. My experience with FM is somewhat limited but I'm stumbling my way through it. My biggest issue has been the lack of design features for presentation. I miss having a "table" to insert fields into as I have used in OmniForm. I'm drawing a lot of straight lines. If I could merge the design capabilities of OmniForm with FM database ease, I'd be a happy camper.
