Fields are not properly centered

Hi,

I'm having a problem getting text in some of my fields to properly center. for example, the text "My Enormously Big House" is displaying like this in my field:

My Enormously

Big House

If I insert a line break between "Enormously" and "Big" it corrects itself,

My Enormously

Big House

But I shouldn't have to do that, right? I don't have any leading or trailing spaces, not sure what's wrong.

Hi Andrew,

AFAIK, you can't do what you are wanting to do.

You are not actually centering the text in the field when you have your field soft wrap the text like you have it now, and by inserting a return, you are making a second line, so then it works.

That's a bummer.

How come every other application in the world does this properly? What I mean is, is this a common grievance with filemaker?
