Fun & Games - how to create a yahtzee-type game

I might be posting this in the wrong area, but no other area seemed right.

For no other reason than to say that I could and did, I want to develop a yahtzee game in FIlemaker.

Creating the layout/graphics/eye candy is no problem for me, but I feel that I'm spending a LOT of time trying to figure out the calculations and "background" stuff (for ex. - calculating if the 5 dice is a large strait)

My question is this - has anyone ever attempted to do something simular to this in Filemaker? If so, could you share the source code with me? Or, at minimum, give me some ideas on how to build this?

I don't know if this helps. I saw a Blackjack game several years ago, done in FM, I think v3 or v4 that worked pretty good. I can't find it now, but it might relate.

Ahh yes - card games would have about the same AI as a dice game. If you ever find it, please let me know.

I guess if I had more patience, I could have found the answer. Someone else HAS already created this game in FM. It's an older version, but it converts over to 6 or 7 without any problems. If anyone is interested, I found it at -

Which also includes that blackjack DykstrL must of been talking about.

We need to invent a new and totally unique game that exploits Filemaker's unique features. We could call it "Quest for Perform Script on Field Exit." Hmmm, maybe not a very catchy name.
