How can I publish online filemaker pro 7 Database without using Filemaker Server Advanced 7? It all must run with Windows and MAC

You can try cafePHP.

Good Luck.

And what's about MAC? As far as I know cafephp works with Windows only...

Hi, n! I think FileMaker, Inc. offers FM7 Server Advanced because they want web pubishers using FM to pay the extra $... that's why it exists and why there's not too many other options. If I remember correctly, other technologies can be used to work with FM client, but such solutions may not be in full compliance with the licensing agreements.

Now, as for cafePHP, I think you're right about it being for Windows only, but only the host would have to be Windows-based, right? Any platform could access your website. I don't know how Stephen Knight swung that, but I probably would have used it if there were a Mac OS X equivalent.

Of course, if your needs are modest, you can always just use FM client's limited built-in web publishing capability, too.

Are you serving the database from more than one server (i.e. one Win, and one Mac server)?
