relationship based on FoundCount

Featured Replies

Hi, friends

it is impossible to make a relastionship based on a calc field unstored and calc: get(FoundCount) ?

Hi Daniele :D

I think we need more information. Get(FoundCount) is a number. How could it relate to a field in another (or same) table? Fields (even calcs) must relate to fields. Do you mean you want to capture the IDs of a found set and use THAT multiline by itself (or within a calc) to establish a new relationship?

Hi LaRetta

yes...I think..

The foundCount is a number that may vary.

Every rekord of the set has (appear) the same number, but I can't retrive this set !

Isn't this the same question as before?

The answer is the same for sure.

Hi comment

yes, you are right...the problem is the same !

I only wished to try all the FM possibilities...

For example, the summary functions always know the foud set, so they make the sum, the average, the medium of those fields !

How can I implement a new summary function in the same way ?

Summary functions are unstored. Get() functions need to be unstored in order to update. It's a dead end.

I finally solved my problem... and it is quick enough !
