andygaunt Posted August 14, 2005 Posted August 14, 2005 Chris Hansen has just released FX.PHP 4.0 Some of the new features include: * An excellent utility called "FX Parser" by Lance Hallberg which will aid many users in understanding the FX.php data set. * Character encoding of data (both inbound and outbound) can now be specified. * The ability to connect to FM7 using HTTPS (SSL). * Support for ODBC. (ODBC was tested with FM7SA and may work with other iODBC data sources as well, but has not been tested.) Please visit the following URL for the complete list of new features: http://www.iviking.org/downloads/CHANGES.txt For more information on FX, please visit www.iViking.org, and follow the link on the front page.
FMWebschool Posted August 16, 2005 Posted August 16, 2005 Let's also not forget, now it also has full support for CAFEphp. We are implementing this into CAFEphp immediately. FX.php users (Windows only right now) will be able to use FileMaker 7 to publish their FileMaker database to the web without Server Advanced. CAFEphp adheres to the guidlines set forth by FileMaker Inc. limiting access to 5 simultaneous queries at a time. http://www.cafephp.com
