pdf not working on runtime

Featured Replies

I have created a runtime with FM 8 Advanced which includes a script to create a pdf document (new option only available with FM 8)as well as keeping such option under a customized File menu. Everything works fine until I use it under a runtime version. On the File menu, the pdf submenu disappear and the pdf script command doesn't work! Anyone has experienced the same problem. Anything I'm doing wrong!

I believe the PDF option is not available in the runtime solutions. Something about the Adobe license.

That is correct. The PDF option is not supposed to work with runtimes.

Wim: Have you any experience with the Schubec plugin to create PDFs (or any other Windows-based PDF plugins or tools)?

Thanks both of you for the quick reply. Too bad. I thought it was a neat option. I guess I didn't read carefully my runtime manual.
