How do I open and close my FileMaker databases?

Like any other program. Open application, use the File Menu and open file. Or Double Click on a File Icon and it will open FileMaker.

The questions I have answered are very basic questions. You need to read the manual, play with the templates that come with it, and check out the FAQ at Filemaker Inc. site.
