Jdawg Posted June 28, 2006 Posted June 28, 2006 What is the difference between sliding up based on "All Above" vs. "Only Directly Above"? Also, if I check the box that says, "reduce the size of the enclosing part, is that referring to the text field dimensions? thank you so much! Jonathan
mz123 Posted June 28, 2006 Posted June 28, 2006 The enclosing part has to do with the layout part you are in - for example, the body. If you have a list view, and in the field TextField there is some data that takes up two lines in a given record and some data that takes up only one record, then the size of the body for the one-liners will shrink. Sliding up based on directly above: Reduce the height of the selected fields to the minimum needed for their data, and then slide all selected objects up based on the amount of space the fields directly above shrink. Note This option allows the spacing in a column to adjust independently of other columns and repeating fields. Sliding up based on all above: Reduce the height of the selected fields to the minimum needed for their data, and then slide all selected objects up based on the field above that shrinks the least. Note This option maintains consistent vertical spacing among columns and repeating fields.
