Alisun Posted July 31, 2006 Posted July 31, 2006 Hello, If I did a search, which I will need to refer back to repeatedly, is there a way to write a script to save the search? Alisun
Lee Smith Posted July 31, 2006 Posted July 31, 2006 (edited) Yes, Do your Find using the criteria that you want to have performed each time. Then immediately create a script using the [color:blue]Perform Find (be sure to choose the [color:red]Perform Find, and not the [color:blue]Perform Find/Replace). Next, select the [color:red]Perform Find script step in the [color:green]Edit box and and then hit the [color:red]Specify Button at the bottom right. A new box will appear, and it will show you the Find criteria that you have just used, and it will add the word Restore. Click okay, and every time you select the button or the script from the menu, it will perform using your criteria. HTH Lee ps: I should have added that this is covered in the Online Help and your User Manual. Look for [color:red]Perform Find script step Edited July 31, 2006 by Guest added ps
