Help!

I am totally new to the world o fFileMkaer Server (but not FileMaker).

Trying to install the ODBC - XML package part of Server 8 Advanced,

I get a message that Internet Information Services (IIS) is required.

.

Can someone please tell me waht IIS is, where I can get it and does it cost anytiing?:P

Go to your control panel. Then choose administrative tools. Run configure your server. Install the webserver.

IIS is Windows' web server and it's a crucial piece for FileMaker Server advanced. It comes for free with Windows Server.

After you install it as Fei describes, make sure to reinstall SP4 to make sure your IIS will be properly patched.
