Allowing users to login using FM accounts with FX

Featured Replies

Hi Everyone,

I have been building a few medium sized FileMaker sites with FX.php (using FMStudio v1.2 as the base) and I have been now stumped for a few days regarding logins. I have watched some videos of how to create FX logins using a login table, but I wanted to use real accounts.

Does anyone have experience allowing this for web users with FX, should be easy enough since after all that's how IWP works - and it worked very well to keep those permissions tightened.

Best,

Jose

Hi Jose,

An individual on the FSA list is trying to accomplish the same thing. I've created a movie with FMStudio showing how to accomplish a login using real accounts. I think this is what you are looking for.

It took me about 6 minutes to create the login scheme solution. Please let me know if I can be of further assistance.

There are more movies of FMStudio at:
