Limit layouts based on account

How can I limit which layouts are available to a user based on the account login? I know I can build new layouts with buttons to go to only particular layouts, but is there a way to limit which layouts show in the layout menu (in the status area) based on the current user account that is logged in?

Yes, thank you. I have already looked at this. All of the options, including layouts, are all grayed out and I cannot select any of them. Any idea why this may be?

try copying duplicate the set, these sets at the moment cannot be edited.

Thanks. I didn't realize that the default sets were not modifiable. I've got it now.

Is there a way (without having to recreate)if you have buttons setup to navigate through each page to not show those buttons for particular users?
