PTKen Posted February 20, 2007 Posted February 20, 2007 How can I limit which layouts are available to a user based on the account login? I know I can build new layouts with buttons to go to only particular layouts, but is there a way to limit which layouts show in the layout menu (in the status area) based on the current user account that is logged in? Thanks. Ken
IdealData Posted February 20, 2007 Posted February 20, 2007 See File > Define > Accounts & Privileges > Privilege Sets
PTKen Posted February 20, 2007 Author Posted February 20, 2007 See File > Define > Accounts & Privileges > Privilege Sets Yes, thank you. I have already looked at this. All of the options, including layouts, are all grayed out and I cannot select any of them. Any idea why this may be? Thanks.
RT Posted February 20, 2007 Posted February 20, 2007 try copying duplicate the set, these sets at the moment cannot be edited.
PTKen Posted February 21, 2007 Author Posted February 21, 2007 Thanks. I didn't realize that the default sets were not modifiable. I've got it now. Thanks again.
Niet32 Posted March 22, 2007 Posted March 22, 2007 Is there a way (without having to recreate)if you have buttons setup to navigate through each page to not show those buttons for particular users? Thanks
mr_vodka Posted March 23, 2007 Posted March 23, 2007 These samples should help you. It uses the visibility technique. Visibility Technique Visibility and Accounts
