Newbies gahn Posted June 19, 2007 Newbies Posted June 19, 2007 I am trying to use an installation of Filemaker Pro 3.0v2 on my Windows XP box and am trying to update it to the highest version of FM3.0 available. I think the highest released version was 3.0v5. However, the update file is no where to be found. I contacted Claris and they said that they don't have it any longer and referred me to this forum. Would anyone be able to tell me how to obtain it or have it available? Thanks.
Vaughan Posted June 19, 2007 Posted June 19, 2007 Sorry, the oldest updater I have is for FMP 5.0. I've really got to question why you're working with FMP 3.0, it must be old enough to go to High School now.
Newbies gahn Posted June 19, 2007 Author Newbies Posted June 19, 2007 My company still has some inventory data on FMP 3.0 as a legacy application and I want to access some information from it. We no longer use FM but I had to recover my PC and noticed that the installed version was not the latest available. If anybody can help, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Lee Smith Posted June 20, 2007 Posted June 20, 2007 (edited) You should contact FMI, I just checked, and the oldest version that they show updaters for, is version 4. If you have version 4, it and 3 use the same extension of .fp3, so they will read. HTH Lee [color:red]p.s. I should add, that version 5 and 6 can also convert them if you have either of those versions. Edited June 20, 2007 by Guest p.s.
jsail Posted December 7, 2007 Posted December 7, 2007 Hello gahn, I am also looking for those FP3.0-Server Updates. As I only have the v1, I would be happy, when you could send me the update to v2. At [email protected] they 'have those files not longer aviable to send...'
Newbies slovpete Posted September 11, 2008 Newbies Posted September 11, 2008 If you still need these, I have them -- Fmup305.exe Fmup306.exe Get me an email address and I'll send 'em!
