Greetings!

I've been put to task and I can't figure out how to do this... I have a list of parts sold, with part number field and date sold. Now I've been told I need to produce a report showing the last date that each item was sold. I can certainly sort by part number and then date, but how do I isolate just the last date for the report?

Any ideas?

I'm completely wet behind the ears when it comes to FM but I would say that you will need to work with the invoices table. You will need to pull the field "date invoiced"...

Now that I'm re-reading this, you probably already know the above - but in any case...

GOOD LUCK! I know the pro's will help you out!

If you create a subsummary report sorted by Date Descending and grouped by Part Number you could produce a report showing only the part number and the date last sold since a field would show the value from the order of the records. The latest would show. You would not need the body part in the report if you do not want the details. Put everything in the subsummary part.

Ah! Thank you! I knew it could be done... :P

I had figured it was something that had to do with summaries, but I never would have thought of a report without a body... I was even able to do an Excel export with the data.

Cheers! Have a good weekend!
