hartmut
Hello I now have filemaker 8.5 and when I make a script to populate the web browser with another web site, it keeps crashing. Any suggestions Thanks Dave My version is 8.5 v1 and I am on a Mac 10.4.

DAVE/
is there a way to use foxfire or some other browser in the viewer and use that alone?
Stuart Taylor
hi dave, FileMaker uses the OS Webkit, it can not be specified to my knowledge.
Lee Smith
I made the same mistake. I now have a file that crashes every time using Web View, when I request the page using one of my calculations. It also broke the Dash Board item for www.briandunning.com but the fix the was made available after a day or two, fix that part. I can understand if FileMaker was a product that Apple wasn't familiar with, but come on. Have they stopped talking all together now? Are they each developing in a vacuum now? my 2¢ worth.
