July 11, 200718 yr Use the Auto Enter Function for the Field. Select the field in Define Fields Click on Options click on Auto Enter Click on the "Calculated Value" Enter the calculation click on Okay De-Select the option below the "Calculate Value" "Do not replace existing value (if any) HTH Lee
