Novice building simple contact/research database in FMP9 - about 25 fields across four tab groups, all text except for a couple with numbers and one container for pics. Will have 3-4 layouts.

Want to publish to web- either dynamically, or statically with runtime versions which can be downloaded and run on Win and Mac.

My new macbook with Leopard wont open IWB at all - have not tried to work out why yet.

Hopefully straightforward for someone who has worked thru it all.

1. Runtimes cannot access data across ANY network - so any form of dynamic web publishing is out.

2. IWP is acknowledged as "broken" under Leopard. FMI are producing a fix in December. Please note that 8.5 is also broken under Leopard but WILL NOT BE FIXED for IWP.

One option that you have is the use of PHP for creating a custom web interface to your database. Take a look at FMStudio. Or contact us if we can be of help.
