Job Summary:

Large southeast healthcare organization seeking individual that has software development life cycle (SDLC) experience, as well as, familiarity with Project Management Institute’s standards and methodology. Has worked as a team member or lead a team from cradle to grave creating a new software product. Foster an environment for teamwork creating a cohesive, goal-oriented work group. Serves as application expert facilitating and coordinating system installations for customers. Participates in project planning efforts and prepares / manages to project plans for system updates and departmental required activities. Provide centralized project management services for Project Managers, Project support teams, and Senior Management. Competent to work in most areas of project management, but requires instruction and guidance on overall departmental activities.

Essential Functions:

• Software development life cycle methodology experience.

• Competent in the all Project Management knowledge areas.

• Coordinate and manage application installations for customers.

• Facilitate system demonstrations and/or presentations.

• Develop system proposals.

• Develop and maintain Master Implementation schedule.

• Create functional requirements for system changes, coordinate approvals for system changes, and facilitates changes for department.

• Develop and Implement Training program for other internal facilities.

• Possess strong communication and presentation skills.

• Aptitude to contribute to a professional work environment by demonstrating integrity, promoting teamwork, fostering positive communication, ability to develop and maintain professional relationships in a corporate multidisciplinary environment.

• Capable of Strategic planning, group motivation, imagination and diplomacy

• Ability to break down complex problems into manageable tasks.

• Experience in redefining business processes to fit with departmental systems.

• Serve as liaison with multiple customers and vendors for application support/issues.

• Works with minimal supervision

• Guarantees efficient and effective completion of project assignments in accordance with standard procedures

• Plans own work effort based on one’s own work tasks

• Accurate and timely recording of time against tasks assigned.

• Assists in work plan development and management

• Recommends and implements solutions for problems within the team

• Demonstrates ability to identify and understand business impact of decisions made to fulfill customer expectations.

• Identify opportunities to streamline application related costs, including system development/support and infrastructure purchases/access through optimizing mix of internal verses external resources.

• Provide consistent Application Development/Enhancements, Application Policy and Procedures, and Support across corporate organization and other internal Facilities.

• Implement database standards to ensure vendors provide consistent system design and application development.

• Identify training opportunities to further personal and professional development.

• Seek opportunities to enhance/improve leadership skills through training programs or professional associations.
