IS there any way to copy a table to put into another database. I tried Import it just brings in the format and the data but not the calculations in the calculated fields. I just need the Table Format and Calculations.

Thanks

Using FileMaker Pro Advance you can copy fields and associated calculations.

Take a look at the Manage Database Tool. [color:blue]Main Menu >> File >> Manage >> Database

With the Table Tab active, you can copy one or all of the tables, When the Field Tab is active, you can copy one or all of the fields.

[color:red]Oops, forgot to mention that you than need to open the TO and Paste the copied data.

If you don't want the data, then copy/paste is easiest.

If you do want the data, import will do the job. In the Import Field Mapping dialog, set the Target to New Table. It will bring in all the fields, calculations included.

The dialog is a little deceptive, in that any field that is dimmed out (calc fields) or that you manually deselect, will still be created in the new table, it just won't bring in any data to that field.
