Nestor Posted July 10, 2008 Posted July 10, 2008 Good Afternoon everyone.. Im trying to create a report, but im having trouble thinking of a way, and to be honest i don't even know if this is possible. I have 3 Tables Blanks Data Blanks Report Blanks Picture in Blanks Data table i have all my data, and i have a script that will create a report. The initial report is done and working great. The second part of my report is where im really stuck. The initial part which is done with the script will create a report showing the Jpeg of the blank, but in this case just any Jpeg, and then it'll contain the Item number, Description, color, and the Qty Available (the qty available is created by a calculation in my data table, furthermore in my report i want the qty available for all black regardless of size.) The second part is the issue. In my second part i would like to have the total QTY by Color PER SIZE.... Have no clue how to do this, and if there is i would like to incorporate it into my initial script so that it could be an automated process. I would really appreciate any type of discussion on this and any pointers you can give me. Thanks in advance.. Blanks_WEB.zip
mr_vodka Posted July 11, 2008 Posted July 11, 2008 What is the purpose of the Reports table? From what you have said, it seems as though you can use a straight subsummary report grouped by Color first then further grouped by size based off your data table.
Nestor Posted July 11, 2008 Author Posted July 11, 2008 The purpose is to print the report and hand it off to the right departments, so they have all the information in one sheet. I know i can build what i need, but in separate reports. My goal is to try and find a way to have all the info in one sheet or 1 record, like the example in the Database. Do you think its duable?
mr_vodka Posted July 11, 2008 Posted July 11, 2008 I mean why dont you just try something like this. Blanks_mod.zip
