December 4, 200817 yr Can you tell me where the YES and NO on the button comes from in your condFmt example...I have torn the example apart but I am unable to locate the origin of the YES/NO text when the fields are locked or unlocked. Is it a fm9A feature? Thanks, Jim Edited December 4, 200817 yr by Guest
December 4, 200817 yr Author Hang on...I posted on the wrong file...the one I need an answer on is attached. Im not sure where it came from I think Comment posted it. And I think this may be the wrong topic area as well. 1177164976-LockFields.fp7.zip Edited December 4, 200817 yr by Guest
December 4, 200817 yr I am not sure what you mean by the YES/No but if you are talking about the conditions for the conditional format, right click on the field in layout mode and select conditional format.
December 4, 200817 yr The yes no is a script attached to a button. Edited December 4, 200817 yr by Guest
December 4, 200817 yr Author Lee, I have looked at the script...but I do not see where the text "YES" comes from when it is locked and the "NO" comes from when it is unlocked. I have been looking at every part of this example for the last hour. I have added extera lockable fields and can make them lock and unlock...but I just for the life of me cannot see where the text on the button comes from. Thanks, Jim
December 4, 200817 yr OH ok. That makes sense now. I was getting confused for a sec... There ws no file attached to your first post. Right click on the field in layout mode and go to numbr formatting. You can format a number as boolean and display what you want up to 7 characters. P.S. tell me what thread you were trying to respond to and I will move your posts to it. Edited December 4, 200817 yr by Guest no file
