To get the little magnifying glass to appear in a field for find mode, we have to turn SHOW FIELD FRAMES back on or it won't work!! Hey FileMaker, did you have a ... But since the 9 and conditional formatting, it's easy to show the user he's in find mode. Maybe if they had done it regardless of field frames some would say that they never want to see these magnifying glasses... I agree with you, but not sure everyone would.
