Hi Guys,

I am asking a stupid question but still

I want to know, How is the career in FileMaker,

since I have worked on php and LAMP before.

Simple test - check how many Filemaker jobs are available in the area you are living vs how many c#, c++, php etc. If like this country, Filemaker is outnumbered 100-1 then learn something else!

It is very niche; which is good and bad at the same time. Its good if you have a job / contract but bad if you dont have one as there arent many available in comparison to LAMP.

Don't tell anybody you do FileMaker work; because then you'll be swamped. Honestly I continue to be surprised at what a wonderful niche this is.
