jeffw Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 Hi everybody. Is there a way to have a script rename and replace a layout with a new version? I have runtime versions that I need to keep up to date and this seems like a good way to do it. Thanks for your help. Jeff
comment Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 No. A script cannot even enter Layout mode. No changes to the file's schema can be scripted.
bcooney Posted June 11, 2009 Posted June 11, 2009 Wow, how optimistic. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but you are going to be in the import/export script business. It's not that bad, just tedious. Search the forums for runtime +update for techniques.
Ocean West Posted June 11, 2009 Posted June 11, 2009 Perhaps this could be an option... http://www.goya.com.au/UpdateManager
