October 8, 200916 yr Is there a way to delete a portal row, without deleting the related record attached to it?
October 8, 200916 yr No. A portal row IS the related record. Deleting a "portal row" as such has no meaning.
October 8, 200916 yr To add a bit ... a portal is simply a display tool. You can filter down the relationship that the portal relies upon (such as restricting the display to certain categories or dates) and it will eliminate (filter out) certain base-related records. It would mean that those records would not be related any more IN THAT PORTAL only but those records could still be related to the main parent only on the parent ID. Is it a filtered portal that you want? Can you provide more information? :smile2:
October 9, 200916 yr Author Yes, thats exactly want I'm looking or is a filtered portal. If I would have thought about it just that wee bit longer, I would have been able to answer my own question. Yes, what I'm looking to do is show a list of contacts, and when those contacts meet certain criteria, (Inactive, etc..) no longer show them in the portal display, but still have their "Main" or RR on file. Thanks for the input.
