fishtech Posted July 21, 2010 Posted July 21, 2010 Is there any way to get an iPhone photograph into a container field using FMGo? Thanks, ft.
Newbies fahirsch Posted July 22, 2010 Newbies Posted July 22, 2010 Yes http://help.filemaker.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/7744/kw/update/related/1
fishtech Posted July 22, 2010 Author Posted July 22, 2010 That's cool for images that are embedded in apps (eg. images in Safari). How about a picture that has been taken with the iPhone camera? Thanks, ft.
Newbies fahirsch Posted July 22, 2010 Newbies Posted July 22, 2010 I don't have an iPhone (only an iPod) so I can't test it. But I presume it does. Photos on the Photo app can get copy-pasted
supernatural Posted July 23, 2010 Posted July 23, 2010 Yes, it works. I have tested this on my iPhone.
Vaughan Posted July 23, 2010 Posted July 23, 2010 Taking a photo and inserting it into a container field in FM Go would be cool. How did you do it? Thanks.
supernatural Posted July 23, 2010 Posted July 23, 2010 No, you cannot take picture with iPhone and insert it directly into the container field. Only FMTouch does that. In FM GO, I have to use Copy/Paste. You can copy pictures from application or photo album. The Copy/Paste function also works with database hosted in FM Server
fishtech Posted July 23, 2010 Author Posted July 23, 2010 Cool... thanks. You can go to the Camera Roll and press-hold on a photograph to copy it. I didn't know that functionality was there. ossum! Regards, David.
