If anyone could help explain or show me an example of how to build a conditional value list where i can click an item from one value list drop down box which then displays information in another field it would be really appreciated.

Example:

I have option of choosing Lunch1, Lunch2, Lunch3, Lunch 4 from a drop box list. After clicking Lunch1, in a field next to it i want it to say HAMBURGER. if i click Lunch2 - Chicken. if i click Lunch3 - Salad etc.

Please help

I have created 2 tables with relationships and then values lists. Take a look and see if this is what you need.

If you want to use calculation there is the case function, but it is much more work.

Let me know, and i will make a simple calculation for you.

The tables are there like any other table in the select layout drop down or select view, go to layout, select which one you want to see. Is this what you are asking?

Why the separate fields for lunch? You could just have a field for Lunch and use a list for the different selections.

What you describe here is not a conditional value list, and could be done very simply:
